Maddtech ("we", "us") is MADD TECH INDUSTRIES LLC, 4214 Shamans Drive, Marietta, GA 30062. We make Team Operations, software that youth and school sports teams use to manage rosters, practices, check-ins, RSVPs and messages. Each team runs its own private site. This policy covers this website and the Team Operations service. Questions: Privacy Terms support@madd-tech.com.
On this website: the details you type into the contact or demo form (name, email, team name, message) and basic technical data such as your IP address, used to prevent abuse.
In a team's site: the account details people give their team (name, email, phone, birth date, role, ride group), practice check-in and RSVP records, messages, waiver acknowledgements, jersey sizes, race entries, support messages, links between family accounts, walk-in rider details (parent or guardian contact, school and grade, emergency contact and any medical notes a team enters at check-in) and, if you turn them on, your browser's notification settings. The team decides what it collects and is responsible for its members' information; we process it for the team.
Location: if you use the weather view and allow location, or search for a place, that location is sent through our servers to the weather and map providers listed below. We do not store it.
Payments: teams pay through Stripe. We never see or store full card numbers.
To run the service, send the emails and notifications a team asks for, answer your messages, keep the service secure, and meet legal duties. We do not sell personal information and we do not show ads.
Only service providers needed to run Team Operations (hosting, email delivery, text messages where a team turns them on, payments, weather and map data from the US National Weather Service, Open-Meteo, RainViewer, Iowa State University's Iowa Environmental Mesonet (US radar) and OpenStreetMap, and optional sign-in with Google, Microsoft or Slack), and only when the law requires it. Within a team, information is visible according to the roles that team sets.
We use only the cookies needed to keep you signed in and keep the service secure. We do not use advertising or tracking cookies, and this website does not use analytics.
Many team members are minors. Accounts for minors are created and managed with a parent, guardian or the team. We do not knowingly collect information from a child under 13 unless the team confirms it has a parent or guardian's permission. A parent or guardian can ask the team, or us, to see, correct or delete a child's information.
Teams can export and delete their data. When a team ends its subscription we delete its data after a short grace period. Backups age out on a regular schedule.
Each team has its own database. Passwords are stored hashed, connections use HTTPS, and accounts can use two-step verification. No system is perfectly secure, so please use a strong, unique password.
You can ask to access, correct or delete your information by contacting your team or us. Email us at support@madd-tech.com.
If we make a material change we will update the date above and notify teams.
